About Me

William Wordsworth was born in Cockermouth, Cumbria in 1770. William Wordsworth was the second on five children. After the death of his mother, his father send him away to Hawkshead Grammar School. His father died a few years later. After the death of William Wordsworth parents, he was left with his uncles, along with his siblings. He had a hard time with his parents death and the seperation of his brothers and sisters. In 1787, he began attending St John's College. In 1791 he was married to a lady named Annette Vallon. In the year of 1795, she gave birth to their child named Caroline. He later married again and have five more children by a lady named Mary Hutchinson.  He had much success throughout his life, publishing several pieces of work including "Micheal", "To Toussaint L'Ouverture", and "To Thomas Clarkson." He died in 1850. His widow Mary published his autobiography The Prelude several months after his death.
